A web application built to provide users with lifestyle recommendations based on their genetic makeup.

GenTech Analytica is a biotechnology company redefining healthcare in the Caribbean. They specialize in advanced genetic testing, research, and personalized medical solutions, working with hospitals, governments, and pharmaceutical companies to make genetic advancements accessible. By focusing on early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), they aim to reduce long-term treatment costs, improve patient outcomes, and bring precision medicine to the forefront.
GenTech wanted to build a solution that could analyze the SNP composition of an individual’s genetic test and use it to deliver personalized lifestyle recommendations based on their genetic makeup—helping lower the probability of preventable non-communicable diseases.
We built a web platform with three main pillars:
Together, the platform bridges advanced genomic technology and practical, localized healthcare in the Caribbean.
Strategy: Defined goals, Caribbean-specific needs, and how genomic, environmental, and clinical data would work together. Reviewed existing genomic platforms and drafted a project plan with timelines, milestones, and resources so everyone was aligned.
Consultation: Ran workshops, interviews, and surveys with leadership, domain experts, and stakeholders to capture requirements, desired Caribbean customization, and how to integrate environmental and lifestyle data.
Design: Created wireframes and prototypes for a clear, accessible interface. Iterated with stakeholder feedback so complex genomic insights stayed easy to understand and use.
Development: Built the PGS system, multi-ancestry customization, and environmental data integration with scalability, performance, and cross-device compatibility in mind. Kept stakeholders updated with regular checkpoints.
Test & Refine: Ran usability testing, accessibility audits, and validation of genomic, clinical, and lifestyle data. Incorporated feedback, did final QA, and prepared the platform for launch.
